Saturday link love!
Hello! How is it going?
I have had an interesting week, TYT wise. You know a lot of times I feel that I got into blogging/writing at a wrong time. Its too late to make a mark and there is so much content out there, that I am not sure if this will ever lead me to something. But then there are times like last week, when I spoke to two people in New York. Food conversations that defy geography. I don’t think I could do this at any other time. So maybe, its not all that bad. The first call was with the Founder and CEO of Burlap & Barrel Single Origin Spices, and I got to know so much about spice farmers across the globe. The post is up on the blog. Do take a look.
The second call—well you have to wait to find out about it. Let me just say; I am absolutely over the moon that this person considered my interview worthy of her time.
The bottom line is, I don’t know if this a good time or a bad time.I am just going to try to get the most of this experience.
Speaking of food writing, have you read this article by Bryan Curtis on the Ringer about the explosion of food writing. Its a year old, but this piece makes one wonder where we stand in this genre.
Dhoodh Soda and Red Ant Chutney—- intrigue!!
Parle-G is such a tea time staple for me, and I absolutely loved this piece on it by Jaya Saxena.
Food blogger Farrukh Aziz’s Instagram page is all drool. I mean seriously, check out this image of Lemongrass Basil seeds Pannacotta with Jamun sauce– drool, drool, drool!

And, some rules for a vegetarian sandwich.
