Are you one of those people who consider getting the perfect vada a futile exercise? Don’t worry, this is not a sponsored post. Like many of you, I saw the ID vada batter ad on YouTube, and it definitely raised my hopes of getting a good vada in my kitchen. So it was really interesting for me to read this behind the scenes story about the batter (and the stout) which is making people wonder about the rules of “vadalogy”. Hmmm.. let’s see how many of us are successful.
This story about vanishing food traditions in Kashmir makes us think about the many things we used to eat, but no longer find at an arm’s distance.
