Saturday Link Love!

Hello!

How is it going?

I stumbled upon this book last week, and I hope to start reading it over the weekend. What are your weekend plans?

Do you like sharing food? If not- read this.

Will Amazon revolutionise food distribution?

The Quinoa Boom Goes Bust in the Andes– “The quinoa boom was an opportunity for farmers in the Andes to make profits from their crops. But the incurison of large-scale farms outside the Andean highlands into the market dashed these dreams.”

The importance of representation in agriculture– must read.

Also, mangoes are here and so are the recipes.

This is a sunflower.. no its a cupcake!

I loved this quote from the book “Mother Earth, Sister Seed: Travels through India’s Farmlands” written by Lathika George. I interviewed the author, and this quote from her book says so much about our farms and the way we practice agriculture. “I came away considering his words, and the words of other farmers I have met on my journeys to the country’s diverse farmlands. These are people who have fought hard for their right to tread softly on the earth.Perhaps in these self-contained little worlds, small and complete ecosystems rich in biodiversity, lies the solution to healing the grievous harm done to the earth.”

What did you read this week?
